ADMINISTRATOR’S MESSAGE FROM HARRIET
Well, here it is May again and my term as administrator is about to close. It has been a fun year with some interesting and fun programs. We learned a lot about unknown and famous women and played games in April. We are lucky to have Celia volunteer to be next year’s administrator with Chris and Marilyn in their recurring roles, so let’s come to the planning meeting with some good ideas and volunteers to host each meeting. See you in May for the Academic awards which is always one of my favorite events.
From Celia:
Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 19, from noon to 4 pm (although we’ll probably finish earlier) for our planning meeting for the 2025-26 AAUW year. We will meet at our usual place, the auditorium at the ABC Adult School site at Cabrillo Lane School. Lunch will be provided. Closer to the meeting, I will send a reminder and ask for an RSVP so that we know how much food to buy.
From Marilyn:
Updated information on our 2025-26 dues will be announced in mid May, due to possible changes in CA state dues to be voted on this month.
Your Administrator Harriet 💐🪻🌷

Falcon’s Nest, Joan Pylman
Thank you for your support and generosity. La Palma Cerritos AAUW cares for women, but we will no longer be supporting Su Casa, as their guidelines have changed and they are not accepting physical donations of any kind.
We are now supporting Cerritos College Falcon’s Nest, with personal items and sundries, large and small.
